Craig has more than 30 years’ experience across a broad range of re/insurance disciplines including developing start-up businesses, active involvement with acquisition processes, board membership, strategic consultancy, new product development and leading/managing businesses in both independent and large corporate organisations.

Whilst always domiciled in the UK, Craig has travelled extensively throughout the course of his career acquiring a deep appreciation of customers operating locally and different market environments around the world. His practical experience ranges from the underwriting of UK retail business to the establishment of successful international broking partnerships, development of MGA strategies, corporate strategic analysis and the development of numerous innovative client solutions involving emerging risks and new technologies. Craig has taken two businesses through the full life cycle of start-up to sale.

Craig is the Chief Executive Officer of Meridian Risk Solutions Ltd (Lloyd’s broker) and Meridian Group Holdings Ltd (the group holding co and investment vehicle), as well as Director of Acies Management Holdings Ltd.

Craig focuses his energy on working with great people, building an excellent culture, driving continuous improvement in all areas and solving complex problems, especially in areas of emerging risk. These are themes that unify the various roles that he holds.
